Emma Droste is a graduate student in the Genetics PhD program at NC State. She is interested in how the brain detects features of stimuli and is studying the fly auditory system for her dissertation. When she’s not doing science, she is crafting in her sewing room, acting on the stage, or hammocking with a book.
