NSF PRFB Postdoctoral Fellow

Alex is a postdoctoral researcher broadly interested in understanding how sensory systems mediate behavior. She received her bachelor’s degree from Villanova University where she fell in love with research and decided to pursue a PhD in Biology at East Carolina University. There, she studied the role of the mechanosensory lateral line in larval zebrafish. She is now excited to learn about auditory communication and processing in drosophila! When she is not in the lab, she enjoys snuggling her dogs and watching college basketball.
